1. What is Weight Loss Nagger?
Weight Loss Nagger is a service that sends out personalised weight-loss motivational sms texts. Simply sign-up here on this website and you should be receiving your daily weight loss motivational texts within 24 hours.
2. What if I want to stop my Texts?
When you signup, you will be given a user-friendly control panel where you can pause or restart your texts. You cannot however extend your signup period by pausing your sms texts.
3. What does it cost?
There is what we think is a small reasonable charge for this service. For those who are serious about losing weight, our nominal charges should not seem prohibitive. See our Plan Options in the menu above. Remember, loosing weight should not be expensive. Going for a brisk walk costs nothing and in fact, cutting down on food of course saves you money. But, nothing happens at all if you don't stick to your weight loss plan. We provide the vital motivational element you need.
4. When should I expect my first sms text?
You should receive your first message within 24 hours depending on the time requested when signing up.
5. What if I don't receive my texts?
It is rare, but for whatever reason you are not receiving your texts we will simply refund your money. Please let us know using the Contact Us page. If you received an sms message during signup, there should be no reason for your daily messages failing. We log all sms delivery reports and can investigate these for you.
6. What Countries can access this service?
This service is available globally. However there are exceptions, like for example in countries where their telephonic infrastructure is not good.
7. What Languages do you support?
At this time, the service is only available in English.
8. Is it secure paying online?
Yes, we use PayPal to process our online payments. On the PayPal payment page, all of your information is protected by SSL, with an encryption key length of 168 bits-the highest level commercially available so that your credit card information is safe. We never have access to your credit card details.
9. Do I need to have a PayPal account?
No. On the payment page, there is an option to click on "Don't have a PayPal account?". This will take you to their secure credit card page.
10. What kind of texts should I expect?
Texts are categorised as 'general' or 'targeted'. You should get a healthy mix of both. Targeted means that the text would have picked up data that is specific to your weight loss goals, statistics and gender.
11. Why didn't a text come through when I clicked on the link in the email during signup.?
The main reason this would happen is that the phone is out of coverage or switched off. Make sure there is a signal and click the link in the email again. Another possible reason is that the telephone number you supplied is invalid. Check the telephone number in the email we sent you when signing up. It should be the full international number. If it is not valid, click on the email link and go back to form1 in the signup process and change the number and submit the form. This will send out a new email. Use the email link to resend you an sms with your pin.
